Mount Pilatus and Lucerne
From Basel, we drive to the base of Mount Pilatus, and travel by gondola to the summit reaching 6,983ft. After free time, we descend the mountain on the world's steepest cog-wheel train, then meet our coaches for a short drive to Lucerne, where your Tour Directors will give you a short orientation walk before giving you free time to explore.
Meet your Tour Directors at Schwanenplatz, at the designated meeting time. Then board the coaches for the return to the ship in Basel.
