Join your Tour Director for a 90-minute drive to the Mercedes-Benz Museum for a self-guided visit. Afterwards have lunch at the restaurant inside the museum. Please note there are no shuttles on this tour - everyone returns to the ship at the same time.

Join your Tauck Director for a short drive to this beautiful town, renowned for the healing waters and gorgeous architecture. Join our local guides for a walking tour finishing at the famous casino. After the tour return to the ship for lunch OR stay in Baden-Baden to visit the famous Caracalla SPA where we will pay the entrance for you.

Join us today for a trip to Stuttgart, home of prestigious car companies like Porsche and Mercedes Benz. You will visit the Mercedes Benz Museum where you will also have lunch.

As an alternate option, travel by coach to the beautiful spa town of Baden-Baden where you'll discover that the elegant Belle Èpoque period is still alive and well. For many generations, wealthy folks have flocked here to see and be seen, and to take the healing thermal waters for which the town is famous. Join us on a walking tour and time spent on your own discovering some of the town's treasures ranging from the ruins of Roman baths to the ornate, 250-year-old Belle Èpoque casino, the Kurhaus, which movie star Marlene Dietrich once described as "the most beautiful casino in the world." You'll also have an optional opportunity to visit the Caracalla Spa in town before returning to the riverboat for the evening.

ARTHUR’S BISTRO

Here you will find 24-hour tea, hot chocolate and coffee, delicious cookies, and healthy snacks. In the morning, enjoy a light continental breakfast offering, and during the day, enjoy casual a la carte dining. In the evening between 6:00 pm and 10:00 pm, Arthur's is available for a sharing-style dining experience or a la carte service. Bar service is available on request. No reservations are required in Arthur's.

BICYCLES / GOLF PUTTERS

See the Reception Desk to use. We have a fleet of low-step-through,21-gear bicycles with handbrakes. Please note a waiver must be signed for the bikes and the provided helmets must be worn.

FITNESS ROOM

Open 24/7, Deck 1. Out of respect for your fellow guests, please refrain from walking or jogging on the Sun Deck after 9:00pm and before 9:00am. Guests must be over the age of 18 or accompanied by an adult to use the fitness center. 

IN-CABIN SAFE

There are instructions for programming your cabin safe located IN the safe itself. Call the Reception Desk (dial 9) for further assistance.

LAUNDRY

Find the services list and laundry bag in the bottom drawer in your cabin closet. Call the Reception Desk or ask your room attendant about pick-up.

LISTENING DEVICES

Please make sure your “VOX” – personal audio device – is placed in the charger in your cabin. Make sure it remains in the charger overnight throughout the tour.  Earpieces are available at the Tauck Travel Desk. Please bring your listening device - "VOX" - every day for the tour, unless we tell you not to.  

LUGGAGE STORAGE

There is space to store your luggage under your bed. Ask your cabin attendant if you require assistance.

ONBOARD SAFETY VIDEO

While unpacking your belongings please be sure to view our Safety Video on your cabin television - Channel 4. We will play the video continuously throughout the cruise. If you have any further questions regarding safety procedures please see the Reception Desk.

RECEPTION

The Reception Desk is open everyday from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Please dial 9 in order to contact the night watch outside of these hours. Wake-up calls are available upon request. 

REFRESHMENTS

A cold-water dispenser is located on the Deck 2, foyer, beside the public washrooms. Tauck provides a reusable water bottle in your cabin for use throughout the tour and to take home with you. Snacks are available at anytime, anywhere on the ship, via our "Bite to Eat" menu which can be found in the black folder in your cabin. Order at the bar or by dialing the Reception (dial 9. Available until 11:00 pm.

SHIP SECURITY

All exterior ship doors are locked at all times when docked. Place your cabin keycard against the black sensor pad beside the jamb to open. Please always swipe your keycard on the Tauck Sensor Stand by the doors so that we know who is on and offboard at all times. Additionally, for your stateroom security, ensure that your balcony doors are shut and locked at all times when you leave your stateroom.
