**Winter Standard Time:  CLOCKS go back ONE HOUR**

Depart Koblenz early this morning for a short cruise to Köln (Cologne). One of Germany's oldest cities (founded in the 1st Century AD), Köln was once a Roman provincial capital, and later a fabulously wealthy medieval trading port; the city was almost totally destroyed during World War II, yet  many of its architectural treasures have been restored, including the towering Kölner Dom (Cologne Cathedral) – a twin-spired masterpiece of High Gothic architecture.  ***Note***Today is Sunday, shops are closed.  A few Tourist shops will be open.

Due to the shops closures, we will begin our guided tour with a coach ride to the other side where we will begin our our walking tour highlighting the best of Cologne. Upon our return, our guide will continue to walk us through the Old Town.  The Cathedral no longer allows guided group entry.  You may enter on your own after the tour and depening on availability at or between church services.  After, you are able to explore as you wish.

Alternatively:  you can sign-up at our Cruise Director's desk to go on a more faster paced walk for exercise that will take you across the bridge and into the Center of Cologne for the tour. *YES VOX

Excursion Choice 2:  Jewish Heritage + Tour of Cologne*YES VOX

You will be guided through the streest of Cologne with the tour focusing on the 1700 years of Jewish History in this city.  There is a 20 min visit to the NS Documentation Center Museum which was the former Köln Gestapo Prison.  This museum can give you an emotional feeling while inside.  Your tour requires about 3 km of walking and will end at the Cathedral itself.   You are able to explore the city as you wish.

Afterwards:  Your Tauck Directors have come up with some fun options you might be interested in to add to your experience in town.  You can visit the Ludgwig Museum, walk up Tower Dom on your own, or participate in a local pub experience with light snacks and beer.

Tonight's Event:

Social Hour will be earlier than normal in order for us to board our coaches for our off the ship Barogue Gala Dinner at Schloss Ehreshoven.
