Guests may opt to join us for a relaxed walking tour of Cochem. After the tour you can return to the ship on foot or stay in town for some extended exploration. For the hikers amongst you, the steep incline to the Reichsburg castle rewards you with some spectacular views of the town and the surrounding area.

Please join us for a wine tasting of typical Moselle wines at the 400 year old Schlagkamp-Desoye winery which had been run for 11 generations within the same family.
Moselle River Commentary
Claimed to be the most beautiful river in Germany the Mosel river as the Germans call it will enchant you with its little towns along its shores and hilly vineyards, one of the steepest in Europe. Enjoy some commentary about the Moselle river while we are cruising down to Trier. We will be broadcasting on the sun deck, in the Panorama Lounge and into your "info" channel in your cabin.
Mandatory Disembarkation Briefing
Please join your Cruise Director in the Panorama Lounge for a short Disembarkation Briefing. We will discuss the disembarkation process and your final departure details. One member of each traveling party should attend.

Dinner tonight will be a multi-course event in the grand European style. We will all eat at a set time, and you may wish to dress up a bit for the event! Please note that Arthur's is closed this evening.
Located in Western Germany, Cochem is a picturesque small town surrounded by the steep vineyards of the Mosel Valley. It has been an important wine trading center since the Roman days. Join us on a relaxed walking tour of the town in the morning. Lunch is on the ship and afterwards you may join us for a short drive from Cochem to Senheim where we will visit a unique family owned wine business. The Schlagkamp family winery celebrates 11-generations of successful wine production . You do not need to drink wine to enjoy this presentation at the winery. They have fresh juice and soda as well. Return to the ship and continue cruising through the charming Mosel Valley towards our next port of call: Trier.

We have a fleet of low-step-through, 7-gear bicycles with handbrakes. Please note a waiver must be signed for the bikes and the provided helmets must be worn. There is a putting green on the Sun Deck, aft. See the Reception Desk to reserve a bike or collect golf putters and balls.

Open 6:00am - 10:00pm, Deck 1. Out of respect for your fellow guests, please refrain from jogging on the Sun Deck. Guests must be over the age of 18 or accompanied by an adult to use the fitness center.

A water / ice dispenser is located on the Deck 2 foyer, beside the public washrooms. Tauck provides a reusable water bottle in your cabin for use throughout the tour and to take home with you. Additionally, snacks are available at any time, anywhere on the ship, via our "Bite to Eat" menu, which can be found in the black folder in your cabin. Order at the bar or by dialing the Reception.
SHIP SECURITY
All exterior ship doors are locked at all times when docked. Place your cabin keycard against the black sensor pad beside the jamb to open. Please always swipe your keycard with the reception or the sensors by the doors so that we know who is on and offboard at all times. Additionally, for your stateroom security, ensure that your balcony doors are shut and locked at all times when you leave your stateroom.
